Diff measurements

I chose the top/left mounting point as a reference point as this is in the EXACT same place on both the 7" and 7.5" diffs. The point is the same on both 7" and 7.5" rear beams too. I have measured 4 diffs, 2 LSD and 2 'OPEN' types and the results are the same.

1st the 7" diff

And now the 7.5" version.

Only 2mm difference. This is due to the drive flanges being different lengths.

Even though the 7.5" diff is wider the overall width is VERY similar thanks to the drive flanges. (shorter on the 7.5" and longer on the 7")

This proves that there is no variation in driveshaft length as the diff flanges are in the same place on both 7" and 7.5" diffs.
