Hehe, last friday and today almost all Dutch secondary(age 12-18) demonstrated against having 1040 school hours per year.
It used to be 960 hours. Because of the demonstrations, the Dutch government lowered it to 1000 hours...

It doesn't look very exciting, but imagine, all schools in the whole country not going to their lessons. :?

Holy cow, I just read that demonstrating students can get 'tickets' of €4500!!!!!!!!
A few thousand students are in demonstrating in Amsterdam, let's say 5000 students * €4500 = €22,5 million!!!
Unfortunately I got testweek this week, other schools have demonstrated Friday(big), Monday(big), Tuesday(not so much), Wednesday(little more than Tuesday), today(A LOT), tomorrow(no idea :D ,they're saying it's gonna be huge..)
