[DEV] LFS Lights

Postby NabZ » Sat 25 Aug 2007 06:29

Im working on a project called LFS Lights (for now, if you got a better name just post back) :p
basically i saw Dan showing off his stobe light mod he found ;) lool
it gave me a idea to make a automatic indicator... and with dans advise 'anything is possible' (or somthing along thoes lines)
i decided to get to work on it.. i added some more
functions while doin it... all to do with the hazards...
This is the list so far...
-Automatic Indicators
-Dancing Lights (they just flash alternativly)
-Hazards (variable speed)
-Hazards always on

I done most of it so far. took me ages to make it vista compatible.. stupid microsoft.. lol,
but its all gd so far, just need to make the GUI and do some error handeling.

Any suggestions will be great, - i tried playing with the horn and front lights but they didnt want to work for some reason
im going to give it another shot 2morrow, but i doubt its gonna work. lol

Oh and if you got a better name just gimmi a shout!

NabZ

ps its been a few years since i coded a program last, so it probably wont be the best. but hey, atleast it works :p

Hey NabZ, that's a great idea ... ;)

Why don't you post it up on the forum so we can test it ? :D

hmm, i've kinda given up on it right now.. :(
it works but when you hit the arrow keys (and ur typing a message) 890 apearr which is kinda annoying,
and with dancing hazards etc they apear all the time. im thinking about disabling the indicators with a shourtcut key,
but i think people would still find it annoying so im not sure if i should continue the project. unless u guys got some ideas. lol

im just finishing it up, but the codes really messy so im thinking about recoding the form.

You guys got any ideas for it?
i was thinking about making the car play tunes with the horn sounds :)
