I have Vista.. but only ever used it once then got rid of it. Got a bunch of copys of linux on drives, that I can't even find.
But as my main OS, I use XP MCE.

XP is the best choice at the moment I think. But Vista should be good when the SP1 patch is released ... :)

I use Vista Ultimate 32 bit and Ubuntu Studio on this computer. On my laptop, I run Mandriva linux, soon to be replaced with SuSE 10.3.
