Call of Juarez

Postby Dan » Tue 14 Aug 2007 20:44

I got the chance to try the new game called Call of Juarez on my pc today.
It's kind of like a cowboy shotting game, and it's one of the first DirectX 10 games.

It's not a bad game, but I got killed in the first 15 minutes so I just turned it off again ... :D

It ran on my pc at 1680x1050 with the "Best quality" setting at around 60 fps, so not too bad I guess. :)

The game is quite pretty to look at, so I took some screenshots for you all to see!

Here are the screenshots :

Very nice Dan!
I like the looks of that game. Only thing is, I can't play. *sobs*
Ah well, someday I will own a monster PC system.

Please note that video cards that do not support hardware pixel shaders version 2.0 or better do not fully meet the game's minimum spec and will therefore suffer performance issues.
The Game was not tested with onboard graphics cards, including laptops.

DIRECTX 10
To play the game in DirectX 10 mode, Microsoft Vista operating system and a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card must be installed.
To run the game in DirectX 10 mode right-click on the game's icon in Games Explorer and select "Play Call of Juarez - DirectX 10"

So yea, I guess it is compatible with DirectX 9, but obviously it won't be as good looking as DirectX 10 ... :D
